Breakbulk Green World Awards

Dear THLG members,

We are happy to introduce the Breakbulk Green World Awards, which will be presented during the Breakbulk Europe 2025 Welcome Reception on 13 May 2025 in Rotterdam.

These awards celebrate outstanding achievements in sustainability within the project cargo and breakbulk industry, honoring companies and individuals who are making a positive environmental impact.

Nine award categories highlight innovations and initiatives driving greener practices:

  • Sustainable Ship Design: Recognizing vessels designed with eco-friendly features and reduced emissions.
  • Green Port Award: Recognizing ports implementing sustainable practices and technologies.
  • Best Maritime Transport: Recognizing maritime transport solutions that prioritize environmental sustainability.
  • Best Overland Transport: Recognizing overland transport methods minimizing environmental impact.
  • Green Flight Award: Recognizing air transport initiatives committed to reducing carbon footprints.
  • Eco-Friendly Equipment Innovator: Recognizing innovations in equipment that enhance sustainability in operations.
  • Best Digital Solution for Sustainability: Recognizing digital tools and solutions promoting environmental responsibility.
  • Renewable Energy Project of the Year (People’s Choice Award): Recognizing outstanding renewable energy projects, as voted by the community.
  • 2025 Sustainability Champion (People’s Choice Award): Recognizing an individual who has made significant contributions to sustainability in the industry, as chosen by community votes.

The awards are open to all companies, with no cost to participate. The deadline for entries is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025.
