EGYPT NEW IMPORT REGULATIONS

Dear Sirs,

Kindly note that Central Bank of Egypt have issued a new Decree stating that they will be applied compulsorily from the beginning of March 2022 a new regulations to stop dealing with collection documents in carrying out all import process and working with documentary credits only.

So according to this new regulations all import to Egypt will be through Documentary Credits only.
