International Women’s Day – 8th March

Dear THLG fellow members,

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality.

This special day, also provides an important and exciting opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements and elevate visibility, while amplifying a call to action to everyone everywhere to do what they can to help build an inclusive world – a world where diverse backgrounds, perspectives and talent are sought, valued and embraced.

In a predominantly male-dominated industry, women are steadily making their mark at the heavy lift & project business. The women in THLG are bravely contributing for that. So for today, on behalf of the whole ExCom and The Heavy Lift Group, I would like to say HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY for every single THLG woman in different parts of the world:
