Dear THLG Members,
We are happy to announce that during the upcoming conference in The Hague, we will be conducting elections for the Executive Committee (ExCom).
This is a significant opportunity for passionate individuals within our community to actively contribute to the direction and initiatives of our organization.
We invite members who meet the criteria outlined in THLG’s Articles of Association to consider standing as candidates.
According to the THLG Articles of Association, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Only representatives of the members are eligible as Executive Committee members.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of membership to apply for the elections.
Furthermore, we would like to provide additional information and general rules regarding the voting procedure:
- Voting will be conducted by secret ballot.
- Only one representative of each member company may vote.
- Newly elected Executive Committee members will assume office immediately after the meeting in which they are elected and will take the place of their predecessor on the roster of resignations.
Prior to the election procedure, each candidate will have 2–3 minutes to present themselves to the members present.
We would also like to bring to your attention that managing THLG is a demanding and ongoing responsibility. The governance and development of the Group require active participation, structured decision-making, and consistent weekly engagement from the Executive Committee.
Over the past years, THLG has significantly elevated its positioning, visibility, and professional standards, enhancing the exposure and prestige of its members worldwide. Maintaining and further advancing this trajectory of growth requires committed, hands-on leadership.
We therefore kindly ask all potential candidates to carefully consider the level of time, attention, and contribution required to actively participate in the Group’s management before submitting their candidacy.
