Reminder – Deadline 23rd September 2020 for BBEU21

Reminder to all BBEU exhibiting members.

Deadline to cancel 23rd September!

Dear exhibiting members

The current health crisis has a severe impact on event planning given the travel restrictions and the required social distancing, which also resulted in our annual conferences cancellation.

Following the global trend, BBEU20 has been cancelled due to the pandemic of the Corona virus. Next planned event is BBEU21 which is re-scheduled for the 20th of May 2021 where we all hope to meet again in person.

THLG is planning to maintain its dominant presence by keeping the privileged booth location in Hall 5.

As per common practice, BB management has transferred all the amounts paid by THLG for BBEU20 for the new exhibition in 2021, so that THLG can be entitled to the benefits of all previous years (i.e. location, discounted rent price).

ExCom needs to sign the new contract by next week otherwise we might be forced to lose our spot or price levels will not be the same.

It is, therefore, required that our 24 exhibiting members declare if they wish to keep their counter or not in writing by the 23rd of September

If no answer is received until then, we shall consider that you agree to stay and be part of THLG booth in BBEU21. In that case, your payment will automatically be transferred for next year and your counter selection is confirmed.

If you cancel your participation, we will pursue to sell the spot to another member in order to preserve our booth’s privileged location. Refund possibilities will be communicated by the Treasurer at a later stage and after receiving the overall intention by all participants.

Therefore, please declare your decision after thorough consideration as we strongly advise you to keep the counters as they are already fixed and agreed.

ExCom has been negotiating for many months in order to keep the same place with the same prices as last year and minimize all non refundable expenses that occurred. It will be a pity to lose all these years’ efforts to preserve our location in Hall 5.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding all these months and we are looking forward to seeing you all in person again at our Conference and Breakbulk exhibition in May 2021.

Have a nice week.
