Dear THLG fellow Members,
With the beginning of a new year, we found ourselves hoping for the best and planning the future – some were positive that the Pandemic would finally come to an end, and we would be able to, little by little, pick up on our much appreciated former way of living.
Unfortunately, this wish didn’t come true and one of the consequences was the canceling of Breakbulk Europe 2021, a European exhibition to which we at THLG were looking forward. However, along with these, came great news: it will return in May 2022 in Rotterdam – Netherlands! We are eager to continue working on our Audit Report to be presented at the next Conference, as well as deciding our next steps to make THLG’s presence felt at BBEU22.
Let’s go on with glad tidings, shall we?
Our ExCom is working thoroughly to heighten THLG’s appearance and outreach. We understand that the more people know about the Group, the higher the business sector’s standards, and the more we can evolve, promoting our best practices and taking in valuable Members. For that, we just contracted a new advertising package with HLPFI press. And we are also studying new possibilities.
THLG’s 2021 Program of Webinars is full! This means we have tons of opportunities to learn and bond, like the one in February, when our Tradelossa Members talked about Oversized & Super Heavy Road Transportation Across USMCA. And yesterday at “Marketing the New Normal” with the brilliant presentation of the brand strategist, Peter Economides. I’m sure you all like it.
Last, but not least – did you think we’d forget about the Contests? Stay tuned to our Spring Conference, where the winners will be announced and will be able to gladly show off their awards. The event will feature Roundtable Discussions on six Segments per day, and you can volunteer to be Conference Moderator for any Segment you like. Hopefully, we can count on the presence of all to have valuable encounters on April 15th and May 19th.
Not bad for the first quarter, huh?! We’re happy to be part of this and more so with the possibility of remotely keeping in touch on such hard times we are living. Let’s stick together, keep up the hope, and #PowerInUnity!
