Dear THLG members,
During our upcoming Conference in The Hague in June, besides all other matters to be discussed there will be elections to form the new ExCom. There are two ExCom and two Ad hoc positions to be filled and as per THLG Articles of Association the candidates must meet below criteria:
1. Only representatives of the members are eligible as Executive Committee members.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years membership in order to apply for the elections
We invite any member interested in volunteering for the Executive Committee to inform us by email at [email protected] and [email protected] .
Some extra information and general rules on the voting procedure are the following:
1. Voting is by secret ballot.
2. Only one representative of each member can vote.
3. Newly elected Executive Committee members accept their office immediately after the meeting in which they were elected and on the roster of resignations take the place of their predecessor.
Please also note that right before the election procedure, each candidate will have 2-3 minutes time to present themselves before the rest present members. The first two in votes will fill the two ExCom vacancies and the following two the Ad hoc vacancies.
