Dear THLG members,
For those of you who were attending our THLG Conference in Antwerp, you may recall I had informed you that THLG was currently under an audit from the Dutch Authorities to determine our VAT exemption we had enjoyed being a Non-Profit Organization.
We were in jeopardy of possibly having to pay VAT & Taxes on everything we did including membership fees etc
Per the Dutch Authorities we were randomly selected and there was back and forth exchange between the Authorities and THLG Excom for the Audit for several months which was initially received by us in June this year.
Happy to inform you that we have just received feedback from the Dutch Authorities that the Audit has been successfully concluded in favor of THLG continuing to have it’s VAT & Taxes exemption.
Several members of our team were involved in these deliberations on behalf of THLG.
