Barnhart Refining Map Case Studies — For this project, Barnhart, THLG member for the USA, had to remove a gigantic, 25,000 lb. sulfur condenser and replace it with a new one during an emergency shutdown. The major challenge was the angle we had to do it at, as moving straight wasn’t an option. It was also the time window. It had to get done then and there.
Thankfully, our team of expert movers came and handled it flawlessly. We commissioned our dual beam counterweight cantilever system to do the job and managed to get everything settled in just one 16 hour shift. For such a large part, we consider that a success.
