Cosmatos Group, member of THLG, recently completed the offloading, transportation and receipt at storage area of 12 sets of windmills. The cargo arrived at Mesta port of Chios island aboard on vessel MV JSP PORTO.
Apart from the above services, Cosmatos Group arranged:
- HSE tutorial to stevedoring union prior to commencement of ops
- Daily Toolbox meetings with all personnel involved
- Marking of the perimeter of the operation’s zone with safety signals and access restriction by unauthorized personnel
- Use of Cosmatos Group own discharging equipment to assist maintaining high safety standards while avoiding cargo damage (lollipops)
Cosmatos Projects Team played an active role at all discharging operations to ensure that all steps were completed to the client’s full satisfaction.
