one more time EGL going big by getting awarded transportation of the biggest paper factory in Egypt. EGL subsidiary of Kadmar group successfully transported the first unit of the paper factory from Alex port to Cairo.
EGL & Kadmar scope of services was as follow
- Discharging from the vessel
- Inland transportation from under vessel to Yard inside port
- Discharging in Yard
- Storage in Port
- Loading unit on modular trailer
- Inland transportation from Port to Side
the main obstacle of the trip was the huge size of the fibre-flow which was 71 Tons and 24 meters length transported using 16 axle lines. The transportation process wasn't easy due to the very bad weather conditions however EGL heavy lift team acted in a very professional manner without comprising with safety aspects during the 320 kms trip.
