Recently, one of our most valuable clients entrusted us with an Exworks pickup of generators and their accessories of various sizes and weights, the maximum being 49 MT from Ennore to the busiest discharge port in Europe.
Our scope included inland transport from ex-works to load port covering about 400km, port activities, and ocean transport from India to Europe. Apart from the Covid19 induced restrictions, this shipment was assigned to us on less than 10 days’ notice, for which all the arrangements were made on a war footing basis to meet the deadline. While the shipment was fraught with challenges, our team was 24/7 available to coordinate with all stakeholders to solve any requirements and physically available in the field to monitor the operations.
With support from all the stakeholders involved, timely delivery was ensured as per the committed transit time, which is a rare feature in these tough times.
