In these highly uncertain times, Total Movements, member of The Heavy Lift Group for India, is proud to have shipped a full shipload of over 12,000FRT of breakbulk cargo to Mongla for the Rampal Project Site.
While this project was under execution, a major challenge faced was the outbreak of COVID-19.
Due to this pandemic of COVID-19 we came across a peak period of lockdown (30th March, 2020) in both the regions, India and Bangladesh which led to disruption in the port operations.
This was a very prestigious project for us as the client had to meet their financial commitment to ship this cargo.
However, our team was persistent to complete the shipment at hand with the support of the port and carrier to meet the client’s requirements.
