67th THLG Conference and Antwerp XL, 2-6 October 2022

THLG 67th Conference in Antwerp welcomed 34 participants on-site and was livestreamed for the first time.

Members reviewed finances, sponsorship plans, and the ongoing VAT audit, with discussions focusing on climate-related CSR initiatives.

Updates were shared on the THLG 365 App, health & safety standards, and maintaining quality across the network. New members Grindrod Freight Services (Mozambique), Samer International (Croatia), and Altius SA (Bolivia) were voted in, while speed roundtables explored approaches to global clients such as GE, Siemens, Vestas, and Andritz. Highlights included a masterclass on Dyneema® slings, Van der Vlist’s new Moerdijk terminal, and host presentations by Aertssen and Lamberigts.

The event concluded with THLG’s 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner, featuring speeches from past presidents and co-founder Rolf Riedl, and a visit to Antwerp’s port and Aertssen headquarters.
