THLG member Van der Vlist recently completed a long transport from the port near their office in St Petersburg, way down to Atyrau in Kazakhstan.
They collected a Kenworth T800 vacuum truck which had been shipped in from Canada at St Petersburg port, and loaded the 21 ton vehicle onto their 3 axle low loader. As with many jobs arranged in Russia and down to neighbouring countries, there was a long journey ahead, with 2700km to go from the port.
After a long transit, the journey was most difficult near the end, as the road conditions became tricky near the delivery address in Atyrau, but having expertly negotiated the roads, the 13,34m long, 2,59m wide and 3,89m high industrial cleaning machine was delivered in perfect condition to it’s happy new owner.
