Cosmatos Group and Rhenus Logistics team up

THLG members, Cosmatos Group-Greece and Rhenus Logistics-Switzerland teamed up and arranged an ex works delivery from Greece to France. Cargo was picked up from Thessaloniki Greece to Butachimie refinery in Chalampe, France and it consisted of 3 drums with dimensions 9400x4600x5500 l/b/h – weight 35 mts and 3 drums with dimensions 7300x4710x4950 l/b/h – weight 30 mts. Cosmatos Group arranged the collection from manufacturer’s site in Greece, the on-carriage to the port, the chartering of suitable tonnage, loading on board the vessel and the sea transport till Rotterdam port where our partners Rhenus Logistics took care of the offloading at their deep-sea terminal, the temporary storage at their warehousing facility and the transport by barge to Ottmarsheim pier. The units were then loaded on low bed trucks for final delivery to Butachimie refinery in Chalampe, France. This shipment was handled according to DAP terms and together with Rhenus Logistics we provided a high level, professional service and secured a safe delivery of the cargo.
