Great teamwork from The Heavy Lift Group!

This fall Hacklin Logistics Ltd, member of the The Heavy Lift Group, began the shipments of an upgrade for a paper plant to Trois-Rivières in Quebec, Canada. 150 FEU components were shipped from Finland, China, India, Poland and Germany. In December 2016 the largest units – a head box and four rolls of which heaviest being 60 tons – were shipped break-bulk from Finland via Antwerp with Spliethoff vessel MV Mitiq. The loading in Antwerp was surveyed by The Heavy Lift Group member ADM Team Heavy Weight and operations in Canada were performed by another group member BNSF Logistics Canada, Inc. The challenge was to deliver the break-bulk units to Canada before the CEE service winter stop and after New Year’s holidays. Hacklin Logistics with the help of excellent partners handled the sea transport and inland delivery to site in Canada according to the requested schedule, leaving all parties involved satisfied.
