We are very honoured and excited to announce that Van der Vlist, member of The Heavy Lift Group, received the Supplier of the Year award in the Logistics category at the Claas supplier’s day. We were recognised for our flexibility, good service and strong customer focus. We have been in partnership with Claas for over 35 years and assisted with many transports, including larger projects to and from several countries. A project that stood out was the transport of 200 tractors over a 5-week time frame from the factory in France. Utilising our resources from across the Van der Vlist group, the transports were undertaken within the time frame making a successful project! At Van der Vlist we are always innovating and finding more efficient transport methods to overcome various restrictions across Europe. An example of this is the Forage Harvesters to the UK. For these machines we utilise our knowledge and resources from across the Van der Vlist group, shipping the machines RoRo into the UK, transporting to our UK facility, then cleaning prior to distribution to the various UK Claas dealers. This ensures that the machines are in great condition for the end user!
