Loading a 46M yacht at Setubal

July, 25th-27th «Super Servant 4» of Sevenstar Yacht Transport calls Setubal to load the 46M long m/y «Shergar» Friday PM, L.Branco is requested to organize the call of «Super Servant 4» to load a 46M long yacht on following Monday. All contacts with port authorities, Harbour Master, pilots, diving company, welding team, riggers, tug company, etc. were carried out during the weekend. The vessel, with several yachts and ships on board, arrived early morning Monday and started preparing for the operation, including pre-ballasting and unlashing of the cargo in transit. Early on Tuesday she completed ballasting (reaching 12,50M draft), one of the yachts was pushed out, and m/y «Shergar» entered in vessel’s «pool». Once all the crafts were in position, an operation that was carried out by ten divers with the assistance of the crew, the vessel started de-ballasting. A few hours later deck was dry and lashing and welding operations started, carried out by the crew assisted by shore riggers and welders. Operations were completed on the following morning, ahead of schedule.
