RIEDL MOVES

In 2015 Siemens AG Austria nominated us to exchange 4 transformers in the Hydro Power Station in Letsi, Sweden. For safety reasons additional steel plates and tarpaulins had to be placed in the cavern. A skidding system lifted the components onto a truck. As the cavern had an incline of 14%, an additional towing vehicle was arranged to tow the transformer out of the Hydro Power Station. Right afterwards we transported the old transformer Finland. The new transformer was shipped from a heavy lift port in Austria to a port in the north of germany. From here the transformer was transferred onto a truck and then seashipped to Sweden. Arrived at the port the truck rolled off the ship and went straight to Letsi. At the foundation the Hydro Power Station was set right in place with the assistnce of a skidding system and hydraulic jacks. The exchange of further transformers lasted until beginning of 2016 as it was done in subsequent order.
