International For Transit & Transport and Al Anwar Trading very proud to complete successfully the Mobilization of Oilfield Equipment’s to Egypt. During difficult times in  due to  COVID 19 issues.

The Job:

The Job is to Mobilize 700 CBM Oilfield Equipment having different sizes with maximum height of 4 Meters and width about 3.5 Meters with maximum gross weight of 25 Tons to Alexandria Egypt

The Obstacles:

Small volume and limited local Exports reduces possibilities of finding part charter to Egypt.

COVID 19 started after we completed the plan to send

2 Trucks to Jordan to sail on a Ferry to Jordan which was suspended

and

Special Container Equipment from Beirut to Alexandria via South Europe where limited access to Lebanon

Customs restrictions

Non availability of Government officials due to reduction in Manpower at Government department

Over height in areas where electrical wireline still existing crossing streets.

Trucks were not started for 8 Years which added the difficulty

How we got over :

We fixed as alternative a dedicated charter vessel to Alexandria

Kept patience is following re-export documents in various government departments for 6 weeks.

Managed last minutes pick ups in

Damages of electrical wireline

Long Notice required of truck drivers details to enter area where goods were stored due to authorities afraid of looting

Special arrangement were reached to put guarantee to release cargo as client is not available in

Customs documentation error which resulted in extra 3 days waiting at Port Gate.

Then ball started rolling

Last Minute delay was caused because a suspected case of Corona virus was found while vessel was starting to load , port suspended operations till late in the night , then before Midnight operation resumed and oversized cargo was loaded and rest of the goods were loaded the next day
