Holleman Bulgaria has completed the delivery of oversize cargoes destined for Aurubius Bulgaria complex in Pirdop.
The cargo arrived by river vessel to the port Ruse-East, Bulgaria and was delivered to the client in just three days.
The largest pieces, which measured 5.4 m wide and 5.1 m height, made the shipment particularly challenging. Three route studies were completed ahead of the delivery especially due to a tunnel with just 4 cm of clearance.
The height of the cargo forced Holleman to avoid routes with overhead obstructions and to travel on a number of secondary roads, which required overhead wires in a number of villages to be lifted.
Coordination with police and electricity utilities were key the ensuring that the cargoes were delivered on time.
