Van der Vlist transported first new tram for the “Uithoflijn”

Van der Vlist, member of The Heavy Lift Group, recently moved from Spain the first tram for the Dutch Uithoflijn. This first transport was a logistical challenge being at the limit of the allowed transport dimensions through Spain, France, Germany and The Netherlands. For this challenge a special designed rail trailer was built. The special design enabled Van der Vlist to manage a total transport length of 40 meters. Also a special designed winch and ramp were used to enable loading and unloading of this new tram without the use of any external tools and resources. This whole logistical challenge was in the capable hands of a dedicated Van der Vlist project team.
