The lift takes minutes. Making it happen is a team effort across countries, transport modes and changing schedules.
For this project, long and wide cargo travelled from China to Port of Rotterdam as breakbulk cargo aboard a container vessel, before continuing by barge towards Belgium and eventually by truck to site. With the ocean vessel schedule changing along the way, keeping the barge, terminal and fixed loading slot aligned with the cargo’s arrival required close coordination.
Behind the scenes, this is a joint effort between our Hacklin teams in China and Finland, working together to coordinate the different stages of the journey from origin to destination.
