The Cyprus government has issued an invitation for the expression of interest for the Limassol Port Commercialisation. This invitation covers the container terminal, the multi-purpose terminal and the marine services.
Amathus Aegeas Ltd, through its parent company, the Amathus Group is interested to explore this business opportunity and is putting together a consortium to successfully bid for this project. We are now in the process of selecting a terminal operator to join our consortium. And we are inquiring among the members of THLG if you know of terminal operators that may be interested to explore this business opportunity. Container terminal operators shall operate at least 1 terminal with an annual traffic of 250,000 TEUs and multipurpose terminal operators shall operate a terminal handling general cargo of at least 1 million tonnes annually.
