On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, MODPACK SYSTEM, a Prahova-based company, celebrated its 18th anniversary with the official launch of its new Metal Fabrication Division, during an Open Doors event held at its headquarters in the Ploiești Industrial Park.
The event brought together over 100 participants, including business and administrative partners, representatives of the banking sector, and members of the media. Speakers included Mr. Valentin Mălăescu, Founder and President of MODPACK SYSTEM, Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu, President of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mircea-Adi Tănase, Deputy Prefect of Prahova County, and Mr. Andrei Țurcanu, General Manager of the Ploiești Industrial Park.
In his address, Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu highlighted:
“This year, the company celebrates 18 years of activity – a milestone that symbolizes maturity. However, Modpack System reached this level much earlier, as its leadership has consistently demonstrated strategic vision, adaptability, and perseverance, turning Modpack into a benchmark of Romanian business with international reach.”
Mr. Valentin Mălăescu, Founder and President of MODPACK SYSTEM, stated:

A 100% Romanian-owned company and member of the Board of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MODPACK SYSTEM has become, over its 18 years of activity, a global leader in integrated solutions for industrial relocation, export packaging, and multimodal transport.
The new production facility, developed through a €4 million investment, will create 50 new jobs. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including orbital welding – a first in Romania –, the division delivers complete services: cutting, bending, TIG/MIG-MAG/MMA welding, corrosion protection, prefabrication of piping systems, and production of metal structures and complex industrial equipment.
