For the transportation of an Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) for the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Tajikistan from Izmir, Turkey, to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, specialists from four divisions of Globalink Branches and located in five countries were engaged. Before the start of the transportation, our in-house Risk Management Team insured the cargo; a packing team crated the cargo in Izmir and customs declarants and brokers prepared all documents for immediate clearance of the cargo. After customs formalities were finalized, the ODC was loaded and lashed on low-bed trailers that traveled across the borders of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to the final destination in Tajikistan. When the cargo reached the Tajik border, our Dushanbe Customs Clearance team prepared the cargo for import into the country and delivery to the recipient’s doorstep. Yet another example of excellence in action.
