Total Movements, THLG member from India, has successfully executed the door-to-port movement of about 2,200CBM of Klin Shells from the supplier’s factory to the designated load port in Southern India.
Our scope included the entire logistics chain, from picking-up of cargo from the supplier’s works, loading the Shells onto the hydraulic axles and transportation upto the designated load port covering a distance of about 800Kms.
Key highlights of this execution:
- Large Cargo Dimensions – a substantial diameter of 7 meters
- Enroute Civil Works to facilitate smooth passage of the cargo
- Multi-State Transportation covering a distance of about 800km
- HT/LT line shutdowns were implemented at key points along the route to accommodate the cargo height
- Presence of thick tree cover all along the route
